2. Does Club Z! offer the help I need?
Absolutely! Club Z! offers one-on-one, in-home tutoring to students of all ages, grades and subjects (pre-K through adult). Club Z! tutors are helping children succeed in reading, math, writing, homework help, study skills, test prep, SAT/ACT prep, and more. As we like to say, From Phonics to Physics Club Z! Delivers!

3. Do Club Z! tutors work with my child's teacher or school?
Yes! Club Z! highly recommends creating a success team made up of: student, teacher, parent, and tutor. During the initial consultation you will be asked if you’d like the tutor to initiate communication with your child’s classroom teacher(s). This is an excellent way to ensure that the teacher’s objectives are being supported during tutoring sessions. Classroom teachers provide vital information to Club Z! tutors so that they may zero in on concepts presenting the most challenge in real time. Parents are copied on all communication. Creating a success team for your child is the key to creating greater accountability and the results you need.

4. What is the fee for Club Z! tutoring?
Program pricing varies based upon grade level, subject matter and any special student needs. The components that make up the total cost of tutoring include: registration fee, tutoring subjects, hourly instruction cost, program length, and the cost of any optional supplemental materials.

5. How many times per week will my child meet with his or her Club Z! tutor?
This is up to you! At the start of the program you will decide the number of tutoring sessions per week, based upon your child’s current skill level, specific academic goal and timeframe for reaching that goal. Sessions typically last between 60 to 90 minutes. Club Z! tutors are available 7 days a week on a year round basis.

6. Is there a Club Z! registration fee?
There is a nominal registration fee for tutoring, which includes free assessment testing in Reading, Math or Writing! The registration fee is good forever. Once you Join The Club, you’re in! The length of time between a student’s first tutoring program and their next makes no difference! Our registration fee is a valuable educational investment.

7. Does Club Z! ask for a long-term contract?
Never! We do have an instructional contract, which outlines what you can expect of Club Z! and what we expect of you and your child. The instructional contract follows a month to month schedule. The typical length of stay for Club Z! students is one semester or summer.

8. What type of background and training do Club Z! tutors have?
Club Z! tutors are the most highly qualified tutors in the industry. Club Z! tutors are state certified and degreed professionals with a passion for teaching. Many of our tutors have completed or are pursuing masters and doctoral degrees in education. The vast majority of our tutors teach or have taught in the public and private school setting. The qualities you can count on in your Club Z! tutor are: a love for teaching, commitment to excellence, patience and encouragement as your child works hard to succeed, and genuine enthusiasm for each session’s accomplishments. Additionally, all Club Z! tutors have cleared a Level II FBI background check.

9. Can Club Z! accommodate students with special learning needs?
Students with special learning needs benefit tremendously from one-on-one instruction. When a child is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Speech and Language Disorders or other special needs it is imperative that he or she works with a specialized teacher who has the training and qualifications to maximize the student’s learning potential. Your child’s unique situation and needs will be discussed in depth before the best certified Exceptional Student Education (ESE) tutor is selected.
